What is changing in the taxation of income abroad

Para mais notícias e artigos,

The procedures for calculating and taxing income abroad are in transition in the country. One of the milestones is Provisional Measure (MP) No. 1,171/23, which was published in April this year.

The text, which also amends the monthly table of the Individual Income Tax (IRPF), standardized the rules of incidence of the IRPF on the income of capital invested abroad by residents in Brazil.

Our partner Alamy Candido participated in an article published in Contas em Revista and explained that it is important that residents in Brazil, who invest abroad through their company structures, adopt good management practices.

“Offshores must keep corporate and accounting controls of all acts up to date. Try to make the 2022 balance sheet, even if late, and necessarily hire your accounting to make the 2023 calculation. Because these rules, sooner or later, will be adjusted and changed in line with what we see in the world “.
