The bill’s rapporteur removed three points from the proposal coming from the Senate: the requirement that foreign companies have a CNPJ in order to operate in Brazil when the law comes into force; the obligation to have segregation between the broker’s assets and those of its clients in the balance sheet; tax exemption for cryptocurrency miners that use 100% renewable energy sources.
