Pedro Fernandes practices in the firm's Tax Law area, focusing on tax advisory and direct taxation.

He has experience drafting legal opinions on tax matters, conducting tax risk assessments and tax planning, and analyzing tax aspects related to corporate transactions. He also has experience with the tax analysis of corporate reorganizations and M&A transactions, advising clients on transaction structuring and the identification of potential tax impacts and risks.

In the academic field, he was a member of the Tax Thesis Observatory (OTT) at Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, a study group supervised by Professors Martha Leão and Mariana Baeta and is currently a member of the Tax Procedure Research Group (GPPT) at the Brazilian Institute of Tax Law (IBDT).
