Here’s an article by our lawyer Felipe Lebovits Barreto, published on E-investidor, about the creation of the Sociedade Anônima do Futebol (SAFs). Its aim is to regulate the migration from the current non-profit club civil association model to the club-company model.

According to Felipe, although the SAF is encouraging news for indebted clubs, there is still a long way to go on the legal front for us to have a complete picture of the path to be taken by clubs and for effective financial recovery.
