Our lawyer in charge of the Corporate Conflicts area, Arthur de Paula Almeida, took part in an article published on the UOL – Universo Online portal, which deals with the situation of minority shareholders in the case involving Americanas.

Faced with the investigations by the Federal Police, which point to fraud by the executives, these minority shareholders are appealing to the US Department of Justice and the SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission), a body similar to the CVM (Comissão de Valores Mobiliários) in Brazil, to investigate the accounting crimes there.
