Our partner Daniel Rodrigues Alves attended the M&A Conference of The Americas 2020 (MACA 2020), held in São Paulo, at Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV). In its first year, the forum brought together important professionals to discuss issues related to contractual practices in mergers and acquisitions in Latin America and the United States.

The convergence of M&A practices, the use of foreign legal institutes and institutional differences that may be relevant to operations were some of the topics discussed during the event.
