Last Tuesday, 29/08, we had our seventh CM Women meeting, to talk about the theme “We should all be feminists”, inspired by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s TED Talk: a talk given 10 years ago with very current reflections.

With a lot of humor, Chimamanda shares her story with her audience, showing how machismo is intrinsic in society, devaluing feminist discourse and undermining the movement that seeks only equality.
Our women reflected on their role and that of society in accepting, welcoming and respecting women in the search not for superiority between the genders, but in the great challenge of living in gender equality, after all, we are all human beings!
